New York Podiatrist Reviews- Patient Testimonials Speak to Quality of Care

Podiatry can be a thankless business in the sense that the testimonials don’t necessarily come pouring in on a regular basis. Social media fans of Oreo cookies or Disney World may respond to posts and willingly share their love of the product or brand in droves. However, even the best podiatrists won’t hear back from satisfied clients. They tend to only see scathing reviews when clients are dissatisfied. The Center for Podiatric Care and Sports Medicine has found that the best testimonial is the number of referral patients coming through the doors. That keeps us relatively happy here in our Manhattan and Westchester podiatry offices. We would also like to share some of the online feedback we’ve received that has tickled us pink.
Incredible Bedside Manner
Yelp reviewer Raena S. says: “Dr. Ryan Minara is one of the best doctors I’ve ever met. Not only is he a great doctor who ensured my tendon surgery went smoothly, he has an incredible bedside manner, which most doctors are lacking today. I’d highly recommend Dr. Minara to anyone.”
Similar notes can be found about Dr. Ryan Minara on ZocDoc:
“Dr. Minara was extremely thorough during my visit with him. I didn’t feel as though I was being rushed out, which is a feeling I have with most doctors I visit.” – Victor W.
“Dr. Minara was excellent in my consultation and gave me a full picture of what to expect from my surgery.” – Verified Patient
“Dr. Minara and all of the staff were very professional and very attentive to my issues and needs.” – Verified Patient
Dr. Nadia Levy has also received warm reviews on ZocDoc regarding her bedside manner. One patient mentioned that Dr. Levy apologized for the 15 minute wait time, and described her as “sweet and friendly.” Another patient described her as “very friendly, helpful and informative.” “Nice,” “caring,” and “thorough” are other terms that came up frequently in the reviews. “It was the first time that a doctor didn’t treat me like a hypochondriac, just because I had done some research with regard to my condition,” said another patient.
My Results Were Great
Naturally, patients want NY podiatrists who correct the problem they came in with — otherwise, we’d be considered “friends” and not true “professionals,” right? This is where education and experience come into play.
Maria L. from Pelham, New York, said that Dr. Josef J. Geldwert was “exceptionally knowledgeable” and explained: “I suffered from pain in my lower legs for years and once they made me orthotics, I have been pain-free and running great ever since. Dr. Geldwert is the reason that I have run great races for the past year and I owe all of my running accomplishments to him and his staff!”
Similarly, Jillian M. from Mamaroneck, New York, called Dr. Geldwert “highly professional, knowledgeable, and experienced.” She came in for bunion operations on both feet and a hammertoe operation on her left foot. “I am very happy with the results of the surgeries. My feet are perfectly aligned, I have no pain, and can wear attractive shoes again! Recovery from surgery was not difficult,” she said in her review.
Robin A. of White Plains, New York, came in for a big toe joint replacement on her right foot and treatment for flat foot. “The results have been excellent and he will do the left foot in a couple of months,” she said. “My recovery was rapid and I am able to trek all over the world and wear my beautiful shoes. It is always a pleasure to go to his office — the professionalism of he and his staff is outstanding.”
Amy L. of Jackson Heights, New York, has been a patient of ours for 15 years. She explains, “When I first went to see Dr. Geldwert, I had surgery from another podiatrist, which left me with horrible results and I was embarrassed to show my feet. Dr. Geldwert and his associate Dr. Catherine Lai had to give me corrective foot surgery. My results were great and I wish I would have found them sooner!”
Amy K. of New York City came in to see Dr. Ryan Minara for a calcaneal stress fracture. “Under his care, I was able to get back running in four weeks,” she said. Best of all, she didn’t feel “rushed” back to activity — but, rather, her foot simply responded to the recommended treatment.
Tricia H. of New York City sought treatment from Dr. Geldwert for plantar fasciitis. “I’m a runner, and he was sympathetic to my desire to keep running while he treated me using EPAT,” she said. “After five treatments, he sent me on my way. I’m still running; the foot feels much better after his treatments. Would definitely recommend him if you’re a runner with an injury.”

There are many factors that set New York podiatrists apart from one another. Experience, credentials, and specializations are all important criteria to consider.
