The Center for Podiatric Care and Sports Medicine

Meet Our Certified Podiatrists in New York

We’re committed to getting you back on your feet

When you’re living with debilitating, chronic pain, you want a specialist who understands what you’ve been through and addresses your discomfort immediately. Here at The Center for Podiatric Care and Sports Medicine in New York City, our priority is obtaining an accurate diagnosis and swiftly relieving your suffering.

From there, we address underlying issues that caused your pain in the first place and look for ways to get you back to your favorite activities as soon as possible. We work with professional, college and high school athletes, seniors and diabetics, avid runners, and anyone who has met with a sudden, unexpected foot or ankle injury.

In a vast city like New York, there are many choices for foot care. So what makes our foot doctors and sports medicine center different? Here are the top five reasons people choose The Center for Podiatric Care and Sports Medicine:

  1. Professionalism: All of our doctors are board-certified podiatrists and podiatric surgeons, each with over a decade of experience. They specialize in areas like diabetic care, sports injuries, acute trauma, and bunion correction. And when you need supplemental resources, we work closely with a network of excellent physical therapists and other professionals who can help see you through your recovery.
  2. Diagnostic Tools: Our office is fully equipped to do x-rays, cultures, and other diagnostic tests. We have specialized equipment like the NC-stat DPNCheck, a tool that tests for diabetic peripheral neuropathy, and have a comprehensive gait analysis center to pinpoint the cause of chronic overuse injuries. In addition to testing, each patient is given a full physical exam by a trained professional and counseled on important issues like basic foot care and footwear selection for long-lasting pain relief.
  3. High-Tech Treatments: Our NYC podiatrists take great pride in staying current with the latest technology. It’s not just celebrities like Tiger Woods who are getting Platelet-Rich Plasma injections these days; it’s our patients as well. We offer the most progressive treatments for plantar fasciitis heel pain, Achilles tendinosis, and other painful foot conditions. Some of the least invasive yet highly-effective treatments we offer include:
  4. Medication: We understand that not everyone likes taking medicine. While we can prescribe you very effective medication to treat conditions like gout, arthritis, and neuropathy, we can also offer plant-derived compounds and natural, holistic alternatives if that is the route you prefer to take. We’ve seen great results in gout patients with sour cherry supplements and biopuncture therapy for neuropathy patients.
  5. Patient Experience: We know feet can be a sensitive issue. Our foot doctors are skilled but also compassionate and sympathetic. They will never talk down to you. Many of our specialists have personal experience with foot pain, medical conditions, or sports injuries, so they know the toll it can take on your quality of life. We pride ourselves on always providing excellent bedside manner and conversing with patients in a friendly manner. We want you to leave our offices with a sigh of relief and a smile!
